Hi, I'm Kat. Dental office person, through and through.

I started in dentistry as an on the job trained dental assistant. I got cross trained at the front desk, in treatment plan coordination, in billing and more, because small offices need people who can do it all.

Then I earned my RDH license, along with my restorative functions and nitrous oxide certifications, and later I became a dental office manager. That is where I learned how much of a practice runs on its systems: the forms, the checklists, the phone scripts and the follow up.

Alongside that, I ran a dental temp agency, so I have seen the inside of a lot of offices and watched the same problems show up everywhere. Since leaving office work, I help dental offices with their websites and local search, which means I still spend my days thinking about how offices get found and how they run.

I started No Cap Dental to share what I wish someone had handed me on day one: plain English guides, checklists and ready made templates that work in a real office. No fluff.
